For Kedar Edwards, a 6’5” shooting guard from Brooklyn, NY, success on the court is no surprise. From prep school through D1 Tennessee-Martin to Spain’s LEB Oro, and everywhere in between, Edwards has consistently left his mark.
But even by his standards, his achievements this summer stand out:
- Isaiah Whitehead Brooklyn Classic Finals Champion
- Isaiah Whitehead Brooklyn Classic MVP
- Gersh Park East New York Memorial Classic Finals Champion
- Gersh Park East New York Memorial Classic MVP
- Kenny Graham’s West 4th St Pro Classic MVP
- Red Bull USA Basketball Regional Champion
- Hoopsville Pro-Am Champion
NYC basketball was back in a BIG way this season and Edwards certainly made a case for NYC Player of the Summer. And with a very busy fall planned, he’s showing no signs of slowing down. The sky is the limit for one of Brooklyn’s own and we will be watching and rooting for sure.
